Biography
2019:Played and started in all 18 games for Towson…logged 1,343 minutes…finished the season with two assists, two points and 13 shots including six on goal…she had a huge assist in the game at George Washington that helped the Tigers have a 2-2 double overtime draw (Sept. 12)…Long also helped Jenna Blank make history by assisting in one of her goals to help her have a hat trick and defeat Richmond 3-0 on Sept. 19
2018: Started in all 19 games for the Tigers … took 12 shots on goal, and had three assists … scored first goal in win over Loyola Maryland (Sept. 6) … scored one goal and two assists against Delaware
2017: Played in all 19 games during her sophomore campaign … made three starts as a midfielder for the Tigers … took a career-high 18 shots … put two of her season-high three shots on goal at Lehigh … logged 626 minutes in 2017.
2016: Played in 18 of Towson’s 19 games as a true freshman … made eight starts as a midfielder, including three of the last four games during CAA action … made her collegiate debut against Georgetown (Aug. 19) in the season opener … took one shot in five different games, putting three chances on frame … played in 724 minutes, the second-most by a Tiger freshman this season.
High School: Four-year varsity starter at center midfielder and forward at Toms River High School North for head coach Thomas Miller … led team to conference championships in Shore Conference (2012) and the A-South Conference (2012, 2014) … logged 24 goals and 32 assists in her career … named team’s MVP and was a captain in 2015 … named first team All-Conference that same season … earned high honor roll status all four years … won three New Jersey state titles and a regional title.
Personal: Full name is Nicole Logan … prefers to go by Nikki … daughter of Scott and Gina Logan … has one brother, Drew … very active in community service with T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More), Top Soccer’s outreach program and Toms River FC’s annual Toys 4 Tots drive … most admires her parents … favorite professional side is FC Barcelona, where her favorite player, Lionel Messi, plays … plans to be a physical education teacher and soccer coach later in life … majoring in exercise science at the University.
