2022 Season: First Team All-CAA … All-ECAC First Team … Three-time CAA Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 12, Oct. 3 & Oct. 31) … Appeared and started in all 31 matches this season … one of five Tigers that saw time in all 109 sets … had 156 kills on .349 hit percentage, which ranks 14th best for a single season in program history … added five service aces and six assists … amassed 143 blocks to rank 10th in program history in blocks during a season … third consecutive season she led the Tigers in blocks … finished fifth all-time in blocks with 426 … averaged 1.31 blocks per set and 1.43 kills per set … recorded 45 digs.

Fall 2021: CAA All-Tournament Team … Baltimore Invitational All-Tournament Team … Towson Invitational All-Tournament Team … Tiger Invitational All-Tournament Team … one of three Tigers to play in all 31 matches this fall and one of two with action in all 115 sets … scored 222 kills at a .348 attack percentage, which ranks 15th for a single season in program history … averaged 1.93 kills per set … scored 22 service aces while adding four assists … racked 138 total blocks, ranking 11th in program history for single-season blocks … second season in a row she has led Towson at the net … averaged 1.20 blocks per set with just four blocking errors … averaged 2.77 points per set … logged 66 digs as well … notched her first career double-double with 10 kills and 11 blocks against Loyola Maryland (Sept. 3).

Spring 2021: Second Team All-CAA … CAA All-Tournament Selection … started in all seven matches and 22 sets as a middle blocker … ranked 12th in the country entering the NCAA Tournament in hitting percentage (.441) while leading the CAA … terminated 59 kills on 106 swings with just 16 errors … had a hitting percentage north of .600 in two different matches (at Delaware, March 5 and vs. Northeastern, April 3) … posted 24 blocks, including three solo stops and 21 assisted blocks … added 10 digs to her stat line … had double-digit kills on two occasions, once against Temple (Feb. 27) and against Northeastern.

2019 Season: VolleyballMag.com Freshman All-America Honorable Mention ... AVCA East Region Freshman of the Year ... CAA Rookie of the Year … 2019 First Team All-CAA … 2019 CAA All-Rookie Team … Morgan State Invitational MVP and All-Tournament … Towson Invitational All-Tournament Team … Five-Time CAA Rookie of the Week (Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 21, Oct. 28, Nov. 11) … played in 30 matches as a true freshman, seeing the court in 105 sets … ranked fourth on the team in total kills (270), averaging 2.57 per set … ranked in the top 10 nationally in hitting percentage (.403) and is the only rookie inside the top 15 … took 518 attempts this season with just 61 errors … one of three Tigers with at least 100 blocks this season (121), including 117 assisted stops … finished with a career-high 16 kills at UNCW (Nov. 10) while adding a career-best seven total blocks against the Seahawks (Oct. 18) at home.

High School: Played middle at Willard High School for head coach Ashley Bond … helped lead the Crimson Flashes to a regional finals appearance in 2018 … earned Third Team All-State honors that same season … scored 1,000 kills in her carer … hold school records in kills (1,249), solo blocks (151), kill percentage (.530) and single-match kills (37) … added 200 block assists to her line as well … on the club circuit helped 18U USA team to a third-place finish and earned All-Tournament Team honors .. ranked first in her high school class for academics … also played basketball and ran track.

Personal: Full name is Lydia Corinne Wiers (pronounced: wee-urrs) … daughter of Vicki and the late Jerry Wiers … has three siblings, Luke, Blake and Claire … most memorable moments include the 2018 regional finals and finished third at the 18U USAV tournament ... hobbies include traveling, hiking and reading … favorite team is the Cleveland Cavaliers … favorite foods include chocolate chip pancakes, pizza and pasta … favorite athletes are Serena Williams and Kerri Walsh Jennings … majoring in nursing at Towson with the goal of becoming a pediatric or NICU nurse.
