Biography

2020:Named to the CAA Commissioners Honor Roll for the fall semester….played and started in all 15 games for the Tigers, with 47 at-bats and a .319 batting average…she had 8 runs on 15 hits with four doubles and four RBIs (15 game shortened-season)

2019: Due to injury only played in 29 games, starting in 28…finished with a .208 batting average…Had 13 runs on 15 hits, one double and one triple…Had six RBIs

2018: Primarily used as a pinch-runner, Mounie made 25 appearances and started 10 games ... Had one hit against Eastern Kentucky (May 19) ... Scored nine runs ... Helped Towson set a program record with 42 wins and make its first postseason appearance in program history.


2017: Had one hit -- a pinch-hit single against USF (Mar. 4) … Primarily used a pinch runner, she scored four runs.

Prior to Towson: She helped Nansemond River win two conference championships and a regional title … Nansemond River advanced to the state semifinals … Finished her career with a .515 batting average, .590 on-base percentage, and a .987 fielding percentage … A four-time all-conference selection and three-time first team honoree … She was named Conference Player of the Year (2013 & 2014) … Was a three-time first team All Tidewater and a two-time first team all-state selection.
 
Personal: She is the daughter of Tim and Lori Mounie … Career goal is to become a doctor in sports medicine … She admires her older sister, Hope … Her hobbies are going to the beach and watching Netflix … Favorite pro team is the Redskins … Her favorite book is “See Me” by Nicholas Sparks and favorite movie is “A Walk To Remember” … Favorite food is steamed crabs and her favorite musician is Blake Shelton … Has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, a food delivery service to the elderly … Also played field hockey where she was a three-time first team all-conference selection.
