2019-20: Named to the All-CAA Second Team for the second consecutive year … Was named CAA Player of the Week on Dec. 16 and Mar. 2 … Started all 32 games … Led Towson in scoring (16.3 points per game), which was ninth in the conference and 158th nationally … Averaged 4.9 rebounds per game … Also finished sixth in the conference and 83rd nationally in free throw percentage (83.9) … Scored in double figures in 28 games … Tallied a career best 33 points and made a career high seven 3-pointers in a win over UMBC on Dec. 10 … Scored at least 20 or more points nine times … Ended the season by scoring double figures in 17 straight contests against Division I opponents … Scored 21 points in a road win over Hofstra on Feb. 27 and in the CAA quarterfinals against Northeastern on March 8 … Scored 28 points in a nationally televised victory over Drexel on Jan. 9 … Recorded his only double-double of the season and the third of his career (24 points, 12 rebounds) in a win over Tulane on Dec. 21 … Led the Tigers with 54 3-pointers and scored 522 points … Became the sixth player in program history to score 1,000 points in two years when he made the milestone basket against William & Mary on Feb. 20 … Made 13 3-pointers over Towson’s final five games … Had 19 games in which he finished with five or more rebounds … Finished with at least five rebounds in Towson’s final eight games … Had a career best six assists in a win over Morgan State on Dec. 4 … Had five assists in season opening victory over George Washington on Nov. 5 … Finished his career as Towson’s 22nd career scorer with 1,083 points … Scored in double figures 55 times after starting all 64 games he played … Helped Towson win 19 games, finish third in the CAA with 12 conference victories and win seven consecutive conference contests for the first time in program history … In addition the 7-1 month of January was the second best month in program history behind the 1990-91 squad that went 8-1 … Towson finished 15th nationally in free throw percentage (77.1) and 33rd in rebounding margin (+5.5) … This was the sixth consecutive year in which Towson led the CAA in rebounding margin.
2018-19: Named to the All-CAA Second Team … Was the only Tiger to start in all 32 games … His 561 points was tied for the 10th best single-season total in program history … In reaching double digits in points 27 times this season, Fobbs was one of the top scorers in the CAA ... He was fifth in the conference in scoring (17.5 points per game), eighth in offensive rebounds per game (1.8), ninth in free-throw percentage (80.4), 11th in 3-point field goals made per game (2.0), and 14th in rebounding (5.9 rebounds per game), and 15th in field goal percentage (45.3) and defensive rebounding (4.0) … Scored 20 or more points in a game 13 times this season … Had double-doubles against Tulane (15 points, 11 rebounds) and UNCW (24 points, 11 rebounds) … The 11 rebounds were career bests … Among some of his season highlights was scoring a career best 32 points in a double overtime victory over UMBC on Dec. 11, making the winning foul shots with 5.3 seconds remaining to help Towson beat UNCW on Jan. 31 and sinking a 3-pointer with 10 seconds remaining to force overtime against Delaware on Feb 14 … In the win over UMBC, Fobbs was 10-for-10 from the foul line and made six 3-pointers … He finished the regular season strong by scoring 20 or more points in seven of Towson's last 11 games … He had a stretch in which he scored at least 25 points in four consecutive games from Feb. 9-21 … During that scoring surge, Fobbs scored 29 points on 11-of-15 shooting against James Madison on Feb. 9 in a victory … He was named CAA Player of the Week on Dec. 17 … Fobbs, who scored in double figures in 19 consecutive games from Nov. 18-Jan. 31, finished with at least six rebounds in a game 19 times this season … Fobbs led the Tigers in scoring 22 times and in rebounding 10 times … Had a career best five assists against Elon on Dec. 28 … Was second on team with 21 steals.
Prior To Towson: Was selected as a First Team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-America … Finished an outstanding two-year career at Genesee Community College … He was named the Region III Player of the Year after leading the region in points per game (26.4) and rebounds per game (12.7) … In helping Genesee Community College win 19 games and advance to the Region III semifinals, Fobbs shot 57.2 percent from the field and made 71 3-pointers … He scored 30 or more points nine times, including a single-game program record 46-point performance … Fobbs also had 16 games of at least 20 or more points … He ended his two-year with 1,306 points, which is fourth all-time in program history.
Personal: The son of Joseph and Monica Fobbs, he has an older sister Briana … Lists LeBron James as the athlete he admires the most … Hobbies include listening to music and he lists Dr. Dre as his favorite musician … His favorite movie is “Love and Basketball” and favorite actor is Chris Rock … Favorite meal is chicken and his most memorable experience was his first day on Towson’s campus.
