2021-22: Played in the Jupiter Women’s Invitational (Oct. 4-5) before graduating in December.

Spring 2021: Competed in two tournaments ... averaged an 87 over five rounds ... finished 16th out of 28 golfers at the Navy Spring Invitational with a two-round score of 173 (+29).

Spring 2020: Competed in the Kiawah Classic and finished with a tournament score of 243 (+27) … Shot a spring best 75 in the final round … Her performance was helped by a team best three birdies in the final round … She shot an even par on the front nine.

Fall 2019: Competed in five events and finished with an 76.9 average over 14 rounds … Shot a fall low round of 71 (-1) in the second round of the Towson Invitational … The 71 was a career low … Finished third at the Towson Invitational with a four-over 148 … Was tied for 18th at the Bucknell Invitational (228 +18) … Helped Towson finish tied for first at the Towson Invitational and third at the Bucknell Invitational and Starmount Fall Classic.

2018-19: Competed in six events and finished with a 78.4 average over 17 rounds … Kang was Towson’s highest individual finisher at the Towson Invitational where she shot a collegiate career low of 72 in the second round … She finished third overall (148 +4) and helped the Tigers capture second place … Kang led the Tigers at the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship where she tied for 27th overall (230 +14) … She finished the tournament with five birdies … Kang was Towson’s highest individual finisher in two of their nine events this season.

Personal: Goal is to play in the KLPGA and LPGA … Hobbies include movies and shopping … Lists her favorite pro player as SungHyun Park and InGeeChun … Among her favorites are “The Kite Runner” (book), “Insterstellar” (movie) and Daniel Henney (actor) … Going on vacation with her family to Jeju Island is one of her most memorable experiences … Was an honor roll student throughout high school … Daughter of Jessica and Shin … Has an older brother, Kang … Was born in Seoul, South Korea.
 
Prior To Towson: In her senior year of high school, she won the IMG Junior World Qualifier (72-68) and was seventh in the Golfweek Invitational (+2, -1) … As a junior, she finished fifth in the Humber PMG Western junior championship … She won the MJT Fall Series as a sophomore … In addition, she was eighth at the CN Future Links Pacific Championship and had three top 10 finishes out of four events in AJGA events.
