2020-21: Towson’s top diver on both boards during the season … finished second at the CAA Championship meet with a 278.60 on the 1-meter board … added another second in the 3-meter competition, hitting a 267.30.

2019-20: Won CAA Diver of the Week six times...Earned silver during the CAA championships scoring 322.10 in the 3-meter dive...During a meet at Georgetown, he finished second in the 3-meter dive (247.20) as well as third in the 1-meter dive (252.98)… During a meet vs William & Mary, he placed first in the 3-meter dive (247.20) and second in the 1-meter diving portion (235.80)… Vs UMBC he won both the 1-meter dive (262.65) and the 3-meter dive (290.85)… At the Bucknell Invitational he finished fourth in the 3-meter dive (282.55) and fifth in the 1-meter dive competition (259.80)… At Drexel he won the 1-meter dive (302.70) and well as a second place finish in the 3-meter dive (307.05)… At Loyola he won the 3-meter dive (274.58) and finished second in the 1-meter dive (262.27)… At home vs Delaware he won both the 1-meter dive (296.77) and the 3-meter dive (308.70)…

2018-19: Competed in every meet for the Black and Gold…Was named Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Diver of the Year…Was named CAA Men’s most Outstanding Diver of the Meet…Captured first-place in the 3-meter dive (320.70) and second place in the 1-meter (280.10)…Won CAA Diver of the Week five times…Helped the Tigers win the Bucknell Invitational after finishing second in the 1M dive (288.85) and third in the 3M dive (273.50).

2017-18: Won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 263 at UMBC… swept both the 1 and 3-meter diving events verses Delaware…took home first with a score of 264.45 at Loyola and finished second in 3-meter diving.

Personal: son of Terry and Anne Canny… brother of EJ Canny … grew up in Havertown, Pennsylvania...set 11 dive school records and qualified for district and state meets every year …Enjoys film editing … Among his favorites are the Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers (pro teams), Darren Sproles (athlete), breakfast (meal), The Office (TV show), and Chance the Rapper (musician)... major is sport management.
