Biography
2024: CAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week (Apr. 9) … CSC Academic All-District Team … accumulated a team-best 13 total wins … led the Tigers with a 53.3% win percentage in doubles … totaled eight victories in doubles with five coming at the No.1 court … finished with five singles wins … went on a three-match winning streak which included two 6-0, 6-0 victories.
2023: Won four singles matches on court No. 3 for the Tigers … won two doubles matches on court No. 1 … played all but one of her singles matches on court No. 3 … won a singles matches in each of the Tigers’ wins this season.
2022: Went 1-2 in singles on court No. 6 … ended with a 9-9 doubles record, including a 4-2 record on the first court with partner Themis Haliou … the pair clinched the doubles point in back-to-back matches over Delaware State and Bucknell … also earned victories over Morgan State and Saint Joe’s … named CAA doubles team of the week (4/19).
2021: In the lineup in doubles for all 21 matches … also played four times in singles … had eight doubles victories during the season, including a 3-1 record with Amelia Lawson at No. 2 … partnered with five different players- Amelia Lawson (eight times), Jessica Assenmacher (six), Sarah Pospsichill (five), Themis Haliou (one) and Elessa Jacobs (one) … had a 5-3 record when teaming with Lawson with wins over George Washington, Mary Washington, St. Joseph’s, Loyola and Hofstra.
Prior to Towson: Played tennis at Walter Johnson High School for coach Mitchell Duque … won the Maryland state mixed doubles championship during the spring 2018 with Ethan Kowalski …during the fall 2017 helped her team capture the Montgomery County championship for the first time in more than a decade … earned the county title in No. 2 singles … as a junior, played No. 1 singles and named MVP …earned honorable mention honors on the Washington Post’s All-Metro team … helped her team to second place in the regional tournament …played varsity volleyball as a freshman.
Personal: Born in Belgrade, Serbia …moved to California when she was 5 years old and began playing tennis at the age of 6 … moved to Bethesda in middle school … loves science, especially biochemistry … competed on the school's Chem-a-thon Club … passionate traveler; she has visited 30 countries thus far.
