Biography

Versatile performer  who can play offensive tackle and tight end ... also serves as the long snapper on Tigers’ special teams ... had an outstanding spring ...honored as Tigers’ Most Improved Offensive Player in the spring ... could be the Tigers’ starter at right tackle ... can also play tight end ... very athletic player who is very aggressive ... has made tremendous progress the last two years ... transferred from CCBC Dundalk prior to the 2010 season and made an immediate impact.

2011 SEASON: Appeared in all 12 games for the Tigers at tight end and tackle ... also served as the long snapper on the Tigers’ special teams ... played key role in Tigers’ offensive production ... blocking ability helped the Tigers lead the Colonial Athletic Association with 229.9 rushing yards per game ... one of the unsung heroes of the Tigers’ 2011 CAA championship team.

2010 SEASON: Played in all 11 games for the Tigers at tight end  ... made one start ... made only start of season at Delaware ... caught three passes for 44 yards ... had one reception for five yards against the Blue Hens ... had two catches for 39 yards against Maine in the Tigers’ home finale ... had a career long 30-yard reception against the Black Bears to set up Tremayne Dameron’s five-yard touchdown run in the second quarter ... also caught a nine-yard pass against Maine ... made one tackle in 11 games ... made only tackle in Tigers’ five-overtime victory over Coastal Carolina.

AT KENT ISLAND H.S.: Three-sport standout for the Buccaneers ... played football, basketball and baseball for the Buccaneers ... earned first team All-Bayside Conference honors in all three sports ... winner of the Buccaneer football team’s Most Dedicated Award ... team captain in football ... helped Coach Brian Sofanowski’s football team win the Bayside Conference title ... member of Buccaneers’ Maryland Class AA state championship baseball team in 2008 ... four-year honor roll student. ... attended CCBC-Dundalk for one year ... didn’t play football at CCBC-Dundalk  ... pitched for Dundalk’s baseball team in 2010 ... appeared in 12 games and posted a 1-0 record with a 4.50 E.R.A. ... also attended Chesapeake Junior College for one year.
