2011-12 (Fall): Led the Tigers in the fall, finishing first for Towson in 4 of the 5 events ... withdrew after the first round of the fall's final match ... she was the only Tiger to average under 80 with a 79.1 clip for 11 rounds ... her 75 in the Spider Invitational and the Wendy's Invitational were the low rounds for a Tiger ... best individual finish was a 12th in a field of 85 golfers in the Wendy's Invitational.

2010-11: Became the first golfer in program history of either men's or women's golf at Towson to win a national title when she earned medalist honors at the 25th Annual PGA of America Minority Collegiate Golf Championship ... she caught fire on the PGA Club's Ryder Course with rounds of 75, 73 and 72, taking the national championship by seven strokes to lead the field of 40 golfers vying for the title ... her best finish during the regular season was a 6th place in the Lonnie Barton that opened her spring play ... her low round for the year was a 74 she posted at the Dartmouth Invitational in the fall and the Lonnie Barton where she helped the Tigers claim their lone team title of the year ... carded 8 rounds in the 70's to improve her average by a stroke.

2009-10: The 2009-10 year was highlighted by her third place finish at the 24th Annual PGA of America Minority Collegiate Golf Championships held on the PGA Club's Ryder Course in Port St. Lucie, Fla. ... she was in fifth on the women's individual independent side after two rounds with back-to-back 80's and closed with a career low 74 that vaulted her into third with a 234 ... the 234 was her career best for a 54-hole event ... her top finish of the regular season was a tie for 8th with a career best 155 for 36-holes that helped the Tigers win the Dartmouth Invitational in the fall ... she did not play in the last three events in the fall because of an injury ... averaged 79.2 for the fall ... started slow in the spring came on strong as the season wore on ... placed first for the Tigers in three of the last four events ... had six rounds in the 70's with a low of 75 at the Northern Migration Invite in Arizona ... finished 25th in the CAA Championships ... averaged 81.4 for the year, second best overall on the squad. 

 2008-09: Played in four events ... early progress hampered while recovering from an injury that forced her to withdraw from the Yale Fall Intercollegiate in late September ... she didn't play again until the following March ... tied for 14th in the Towson Invitational with a 161 (80-81) in Towson's opening tournament of the year ... that would stand as her best overall finish for 2008-09 ... posted her collegiate career low of 79 twice, at the First Market Intercollegiate and in the Mt. St. Mary's Spring Invitational.

At Charles Flowers H.S.: Attended Laurel High School in her freshman year where she was the number one player and captain of the boys' team ... transferred to Charles Flowers in her sophomore year but did not play for the Jaguars until her junior year ... won the individual district title as a junior and finished 7th in the state meet ... the Jaguars won county and district team titles during her two years on the squad ... an injury hampered her play in her senior year when she successfully defended her district title after coming off crutches the day before the event ... she shot a 1-under par 70 to win that championship.

Background/Personal: Surname is Airielle Tiara Dawson ... took up golf at age 11 after giving track, swimming and soccer tries ... won two IJGT tournaments, placed in the top 10 ten times and in the top five seven times ... ambition is to play on the LPGA tour some day and become a sports psychologist ... favorite athletes are Tiger Woods and Serena Williams ... favorite movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation ... the people she admires most are her parents ... enjoys listening to the music of Gospel artist Tye Tribbette ... has been involved with Habitat for Humanity and a program Feed the Homeless First Tee of Enterprise Golf Course ... an older brother, Herman, played tennis at Morehouse from 1998-2001 ... a cousin, Rebecca Best, was a member of the Ohio State women's gymnastics team ... both parents attended Alabama State University ... her dad is a Circuit Court judge, her mom is an accountant ... daughter of Herman and Paula Dawson.
