2022-23: Took sixth in the 1650 free at CAAs with a 15:46.25... his extracted 1000 free time from that swim stands 10th all-time in program history... took ninth in the 500 free at CAAs with a 4:30.18... took 12th in the 400 IM with a PB 3:56.53... named a team captain for the 2022-23 season... named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22: Swam across a variety of events during his junior campaign … swam at least once in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, 200-, 500-, 1,000-yard freestyle, and the 200- and 400-yard individual medleys … won the 500-yard breaststroke in a dual meet at Drexel (Jan. 22) with a time of 4 minutes, 43.20 seconds … also won the 1,000-yard freestyle at William & Mary (Oct. 23) in 9:59.54 … won the B Finals of the CA Championship’s 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:34.19 … finished eighth in the 400-yard IM at CAA Championships (4:01.44).

2020-21: One of Towson’s top distance swimmers … set the bar for the team in the 500-yard freestyle (4 minutes, 32.15 seconds) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:45.07) … had the team’s second-fastest 1,650-yard freestyle time (16:12.54) and the second-best 400-yard individual medley (3:59.28) … finished third at the CAA Championship Meet in the 500-yard freestyle (4:32.15) … added a third-place finish in the 400-yard IM (3:59.28).

2019-20 Season:Finished third in the 1000-yard freestyle at Georgetown (9:58.72)… Finished third in the 500-yard freestyle at Loyola (4:44.24)… Won the 200-yard breaststroke at home vs. Delaware (2:08.96)

Personal: Son of Mike and Monique Bookstein… Brother of Delaney … From Manassas, Virginia… Individual accomplishments include NCAP Coaches Award 2017-2018 and 2x NCSA Junior National Champion… Enjoys singing and musical theater… Among his favorites the Redskins, Capitals, and Nationals (pro teams), La La land (movie), Steve Carrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (actor and actress) sesame chicken (meal), and John Mayer (musician) ... major is political science.
