2021-22: Competed in five different events during his sophomore season … focused on middle distance events, swimming the 100-, 200- and 500-yard freestyle, as well as the 200-yard butterfly and the 50-yard freestyle … took second in the 200-yard freestyle during a dual meet at William & Mary (Oct. 23) with a 1 minute, 45.22 second swim … took third in the same event in a dual meet at Loyola University Maryland (Jan. 19) with a 1:44.37 effort.

2020-21: Swam primarily in the middle distance events as a freshman … posted Towson’s fourth-best 500-yard freestyle time (4 minutes, 40.47 seconds) … notched the Tigers’ sixth-fastest 50-yard butterfly (24.65) and the third-best 200-yard butterfly (1:51.75) … took third in the B Final of the CAA Championship meet’s 200-yard butterfly (1:51.75).

High School: Swam for Courtney Like-Mathews and the Panther Creek Catamounts … swam in the freestyle events … member of several record-setting relays and individually in the 100-yard freestyle … took third in NC 4A his senior year … earned the Catamount Award … named Academic All-America all four years … graduated magna cum laude and was a captain for two years (program max).

Ockert … prefers to go by Coby … son of Joe and Melissa Ockert … volunteers with Marbles Teen Play Corps … hobbies including computer programming and tinkering … aspires to work in the FBI, CIA or other fields with cyber security and criminology … majoring in cybersecurity & criminology at Towson.
