Biography
One of the top swimmers in the
history of Towson
University, Liz Lebherz will be serving as an
undergraduate assistant coach after ending her career last year.
The school record holder in three
individual events and three relay events, Lebherz ended her career with four
individual Colonial Athletic Association titles and was a member of five CAA
champion relay teams. As a sophomore, she won the CAA title in the 200-yard
freestyle and led the Tigers to conference championships in the 200-yard,
400-yard and 800-yard freestyle relays.
Named as the CAA Rookie of the Year
during the 2003-2004 season, she was a two-time recipient of the CAA Swimmer of
the Week awards.
A native of Frederick, Md., she is the daughter of J.T. and Mary
Lebherz.
