Biography

Veteran performer who performed very well in the pre-season ... has plenty of potential and could make a large contribution as a senior ... has been a three-event gymnast in her career ... solid vaulter who has also competed on the balance beam and floor ... suffered back injury as a sophomore in high school but came back strong ... talented performer on balance beam ... exciting vaulter who could be one of the Tigers’ top performers on vault ... very good dancer and tumbler who could contribute on floor ... has never competed on bars during college career ... good student who was a member of the National Honor Society in high school ... key to Tigers’ 2009 ECAC title by earning first team All-ECAC honors on floor exercise ... named second team All-ECAC on vault in 2010.


2011 SEASON:  Competed in all 11 meets for the Tigers ... competed on vault in every meet ... part of beam lineup in nine meets ... had a 9.47 average on vault ... averaged 9.24 on beam ... finished third on beam (9.575) in Tigers’ win over Pennsylvania ... also had a 9.525 on vault in win at Penn ... was fourth on beam (9.50) in victory over Southern Connecticut and had a 9.475 on vault against Southern ... helped Tigers to championship at Shelli Calloway Towson Invitational with a 9.60 on vault and a 9.55 on beam ... helped Tigers to first place finish at Cornell’s Big Red Invitational with 9.425 scores on vault and beam ... matched seasonal high with 9.60 vault score at ECAC Championship Meet.


2010 SEASON:  Competed in all 12 meets for the Tigers ... member of vault and beam lineup in every meet ... also part of the floor lineup ten times ... averaged 9.54 on vault and 9.48 on floor exercise ... finished first on vault (9.55) in season opener at Alaska ... had seasonal high 9.70 score on beam in Tigers’ win over William & Mary to finish third ... placed second on beam (9.65) at Shelli Calloway Invitational ... matched season high on beam with a 9.70 in Tigers’ win over George Washington ...  helped Tigers win sixth consecutive ECAC championship with a 15th place finish on vault (9.70) ... named second team All-ECAC on vault ... also contributed to the Tigers’ championship with a 9.55 score on floor exercise.


2009 SEASON: One of the Tigers’ top freshmen ... had an outstanding 9.62 average on balance beam ... earned eight beam scores of 9.70 or above ... finished first on beam once ... finished second on beam four times ... member of Tigers’ beam lineup in 12 meets ... part of floor lineup in 11 meets ... vaulted ten times ... finished second on beam (9.70) in season opener at Brown ... had career high 9.85 on beam to finish second at Temple ... tied for first place on beam (9.775) and finished fifth on floor (9.725) ... earned a 9.70 on vault and a 9.675 at Governor’s Cup ... tied for second on beam (9.70) in win at Cornell ... also had a 9.725 on floor at Cornell ... helped Tigers win Calloway Invitational by tying for first on floor (9.825) ... also tied for fifth on beam (9.70) at Calloway Invitational ... finished second on beam (9.775) at William & Mary ... finished fourth on floor (9.775) in win over Yale ... tied for fourth on floor (9.775) at George Washington ... also had a 9.70 on beam at GW ... helped Tigers to win in home finale with a 9.75 on beam and a 9.725 on floor ... helped Tigers win their fifth straight ECAC championship by taking fifth place on floor (9.775), helping Tigers come from behind and win title ... earned first team All-ECAC honors on floor.


BACKGROUND: Winner of the Level 10 all-around Pennsylvania state championship in 2008 ... also finished first on vault at state meet ... took second on balance beam ... finished third on bars and floor ... competed at Ricochets Gymnastics for Coaches Amanda and Troy Miller ... started competing in gymnastics at the age of six ... missed 2007 season due to back injury ... member of club team which finished second in the state ... had career high of 9.625 on vault ... had career high of 9.25 on bars, 9.45 on beam and 9.55 on floor ... also had a career high 37.675 in all-around ... won Pennsylvania state titles in all-around, beam and floor in 2006 ... finished seventh in all-around at 2006 regional meet ... was second on floor and fifth on beam at 2006 regionals.
