Biography

Freshman Year (2009-10): Finished 6th in the balloting for CAA All-Rookie team ... the only freshman on the squad to finish out the year ... came on as the season progressed, making 12 starts with 11 of those starts against CAA opponents ... averaged 8.4 points and 5.3 rebounds as a starter, shooting 50 % from the floor and 81 per cent from the free throw line ... finished the year as the 6th leading scorer among CAA freshmen ... scored his career high of 14 points in the 91-74 win over UNC Wilmington in the CAA quarterfinals ... one of just 3 players on the squad to play in 30 or more games for the season ... liked playing on the road where he averaged 7.6 points per game as opposed to 5.2 at home ... finished the game at Drexel as the Tigers' leading scorer with 12 points and top rebounder with 6 boards ... dressed but did not play against George Washington after missing several practices due to an illness ... an excellent free throw shooter ... he made 23 in a row before missing at Drexel to post the best free throw streak on the team for the season ... closed out the year with a 4-8 showing that dropped him to .758 for 2009-10.

Sophomore Year (2010-11): The leading scorer with a 15.4 average to rank him 6th in the CAA in scoring ... led the Tigers in scoring 12 times ... had double-doubles against Buffalo (21-11) and Western Michigan (17-11), Delaware (22-11) and Drexel (15-10) ... matched his career high off the boards three times ... hit the game winning basket at the buzzer in Towson's 75-73 win over Western Michigan ... scored in double figures in 24 games ... season low was 6 points at Hampton and at George Mason ... scored back-to-back career highs with 21 points against Coppin and Buffalo ... reset his career high with 27 points at La Salle ... set the career high again with 33 points in the home loss to UNCW, becoming the first Towson player since Gary Neal in 2007 to register a 30-point game ... averaged a team high 35.7 minutes per game to rank 4th in the CAA ... became the first forward in program history to play the entire 40 minutes of a regulation game when he did so against Hofstra at the Towson Center ... he equaled that at Northeastern and at Delaware ... did not start at Miami of Ohio because of missed practice time due to an elbow injury ... started the next 28 to tie Braxton Dupree and Brian Morris for most starts ... reached the 500 career point mark in 53 games ... named CAA Player of the Week for averaging 29.0 ppg and 8.5 boards while shooting 60.5% from the floor against NU and UNCW ... At John Carroll School: The all-time leading scorer in Harford County high school basketball history with 1,776 points ... averaged 17.2 points over a 103-game career with the Patriots ... just missed collecting 1,000 career rebounds, finishing with a school record 982 (9.5 avg.) ... recorded a career record 185 blocks including a program record 81 in his senior year ... other school records he posted included field goals made (596) and free throws made (470) ... he shot .586 from the floor and .725 from the foul line ... registered career highs of 29 points and 17 rebounds several times ... named numerous times to All-Metro, All-MAIA, All-County and All-Tournament teams ... a McDonald's All-American nominee ... the only mid-major recruit to participate in the Reebok All-American game ... played for the Baltimore All-Stars in the Charm City Challenge ... a member of the Delaware Sharpshooters' AAU team where he hooked up with current Towson teammate Erique Gumbs ... heavily recruited, he was listed as the No. 69 recruit in his class by rivals.com ... attended St. Xavier High School in Junction City, Kan., his freshman year when he averaged 40 points per game.
