AT MONTGOMERY COMMUNITY COLLEGE: He was the medalist at the 2005 NJCAA Division III championship, competing as an individual ... he was the runner up in 2006 while Montgomery finished sixth as a team ... carded a low 288 for the 2005 title and a 287 for a second place in 2006, three shots off the lead ... named a 2005 NJCAA Division III first team All-American ... won the 2006 NJCAA Regional individual title.
AT SHERWOOD: Shot a high school career best 69 in his junior year in a match against Wootten ... senior year averaged 37.2 for nine holes and 75.1 over 18 holes in his junior year ... has been active as an amateur too ... in 2007 he was a low qualifier in the Maryland Amateur Qualifier with a round of 69 ... shot 68-73 to win an AJGA event at Hagerstown ... has twice competed in the Bubby Worsham Memorial, losing in a playoff (68-76-69) the first time and finishing second by a stroke (70-71-71) in his second attempt ... he was also a finalist at the Bobby Gorin Junior Tournament.
