Towson University Athletics

Michele O'Connor is one of the athletic department's longest serving employees, having joined it in 1985. 

Initially she coordinated student-athlete financial aid and eligibility certification, and tracked admission status of all incoming student-athletes.

In 1991, she began her work in academics with a small group of targeted student-athletes. It was then that Michele's title changed to Coordinator of Athletic Academic Support, marking the beginning of the Academic Support Services in Towson's athletics department.

She continues to offer academic support for Towson's student-athletes. She also serves as the academic advisor for gymnastics, tennis, men's soccer, men's and women's Swimming, as well as cross country and track.

A native of Baltimore, Michele attended Towson for her both her undergraduate and graduate work.
