Talented righthander with a great curve ball ... was impressive in the Fall and could be part of the Tigers' starting rotation this season ... sustained shoulder injury and missed entire 2009 season ... came back strong and pitched well last year ... has tremendous potential ... has made plenty of improvement ... competing for a spot in the Tigers' starting rotation ... has ability to be a very productive college pitcher ... has excellent control ... very good student.

2010 SEASON: Pitched in nine games, all in relief ... made impressive comeback after missing season due to shoulder surgery ... posted a 4.15 E.R.A., second on the team ... pitched 13.0 innings and had a 0-0 record ... struck out 12 batters with only six walks ... did not allow a run in five of nine relief appearances ... made college debut in relief at #2 Arizona State ... pitched three shutout innings against the Sun Devils, allowing one hit ... walked one and had four strikeouts at ASU ... threw one scoreless inning in loss at High Point ... allowed one unearned run in 1.2 innings of relief at Tulane ... threw one inning of relief and allowed two runs on three hits in Tigers' 19-18 win over Georgia State ... gave up two runs on one hit in two-inning relief stint against Virginia Commonwealth ... pitched 1.1 innings of relief in loss to Bucknell, allowing two earned runs on three hits ... pitched one scoreless inning with one strikeout in 17-8 loss to Hofstra ... threw one scoreless inning in 21-0 loss at North Carolina State ... helped Tigers to a 19-9 win over George Mason by pitching one scoreless inning with two strikeouts.
