2010 Fall: Averaged 74.2, 2nd lowest on the squad for the fall ... tied for first place in a field of 70 golfers at the Joe Agee Invitational with 1-under 141 (72-69) which is also his career 36-hole low ... that performance earned him a fourth CAA Golfer of the Week honor in the last two years.
2009-10: His 73.1 average led the Tigers in 2009-10 ... led the team with 9 rounds under par ... Towson's top finisher at the NCAA Southeast Regional where he tied for 23rd with a 54-hole total of 215 that included a career low 67 in the 2nd round ... a second team All-CAA choice ... named CAA Golfer of the Week three times after tying for 1st in The McLaughlin, finishing 2nd at the F&M Bank Austin Peay Intercollegiate and 5th at the Fireline Towson Invitational ... made the CAA's All-Tournament team by tying for 4th to help the Tigers win the conference team title ... named Towson University's Male Athlete of the Year ... finished 2nd in the 24th Annual PGA of America Minority Collegiate Golf Championships held on the PGA Club's Ryder Course in Port St. Lucie, Fla. where he shot a 4-under par 212, his career low for 54 holes ... received one of ten $1,000 scholarships awarded by State Farm at the PGA event ... during the regular season he had 4 top five finishes while averaging a team best 73.2, over 3 strokes better than his sophomore year ... carded a career low 208 (69-67-72) to tie for 1st in The McLaughlin ... shot a 7-under par 209 to finish second Austin Peay's event ... named as an Arthur Ashe All-American First Team Scholar.

Background/Personal: Full name is Nyasha Geoff Mauchaza but prefers Nash as a first name ... a native of Zimbabwe, he and his family moved to the United States in late 2005, settling in Haverford, Pa. ... his parents are both doctors ... when he was 10-years-old he tagged along with his mother for a golf lesson ... he became enamored with the game after hitting some balls off to the side as she was taking the lesson ... his most memorable experience was chipping in for eagle from 45 yards to win the 2005 Zimbabwe Junior National Stroke Play Championship on the third playoff hole ... his international experience includes playing in the two Junior Orange Bowl Championships and in the Junior World Team Championship in Nagoya, Japan where Zimbabwe and South Africa represented the continent ... his favorite athlete is Tiger Woods ... has volunteered at a handicap children's home in the past and was involved in a fundraiser for Children International ... ambition is to play golf professionally ... has an older brother and sister ... both parents attended the University of Zimbabwe ...
