Biography

After spending the past year as the lead intern in the Tigers' video services office, Mark Burlin has moved into a full-time position as the Video Coordinator for the Towson Athletic Department. Burlin will also handle football video responsibilities for the 2011 season working with Coach Rob Ambrose and his staff.

During the past year, Burlin was involved in all aspects of the Tigers' video services. He helped record and process team footage for various sports in addition to filming, editing and posting team highlight footage with commentary after the games. Burlin traveled with the team to obtain footage of road contests and operated the courtside monitor for basketball games. He broke down game footage at the request of coaches and worked on special promotional projects for the Director of Athletics.

Prior to his arrival in Towson, Burlin served as the assistant manager for the Nebraska Book Company.

Burlin graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in the spring of 2009 with a dual degree. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

While he was an undergraduate, Burlin served as the film director, producer and editor of "From Laney to Legend: Michael Jordan's Lost Legacy." As part of the project he filmed basketball games and interviewed the principal subjects.

Burlin is a member of the Pi Sigma Epsilon and Mu Kappa Tau, which are professional and honors marketing fraternities.
