2016 Season: Named to the CAA All-Tournament Team … played and started in all 19 games in his final campaign as a close defenseman … forced a career-best 16 turnovers while anchoring the best scoring defense in Division I, which allowed just 7.26 goals per game … snapped up a season-high five groundballs against Drexel (May 5) in the CAA Tournament … scored first career goal on a first-half buzzer beater against Drexel in that same game … finished the year with 36 groundballs, ranking the top five for the Tigers in 2016 Season … forced multiple turnovers in five games, including a pair against No. 2 Denver in the NCAA Tournament First Round, helping Towson to a 10-9 victory.

2015 Season: Played and started in 10 contests, starting midseason for the injured Andrew Cordes … collected 18 groundballs … served just one penalty while starting for a top-five scoring defense … played on a man-down unit that killed penalties at a 72.9 percent rate, seventh-best in the country.

2014 Season: Moved into a starting role on the defense as the season progressed (started the last 11 games) ... led the Tigers with 40 ground balls ... his 12 caused turnovers were second on the team ... he caused three turnovers at UMass to tied for Towson's individual game high mark ... collected seven ground balls against No. 10 Penn - second most in a single game by a Tiger in 2014 ... gathered six ground balls twice - versus Mount St. Mary's and at UMass ... committed just four turnovers.

At Denver in 2012: Saw action in 15 games ... grabbed eight ground balls and forced seven caused turnovers ... tallied career-high two ground balls and two caused turnovers against Bellarmine (4/6/12) ... recorded two ground balls and four caused turnovers during ECAC play.

At Our Lady of Good Counsel HS: Played eight years of lacrosse at defense ... four-year varsity starter on lacrosse team ... all-county and All-WCAC first team for three years ... second team all-state as a senior along with second team all-met ... named first team all-conference his sophomore year and first team all-county his sophomore and junior years ... 2010 Under Armour Underclass Team member.

Personal: Son of Paul and Shannon Gorman ... has three brothers, Seth, Connor, and Max ... also enjoys basketball, football, yoga, camping, swimming and making smoothies in his free time ... major is environmental science with a minor in philosophy.
