Biography

2018: First Team All-CAA at right tackle, starting all 12 games...helped Towson rank #1 in the CAA in each points scored per game and total offense...blocked for Tom Flacco, the CAA Offensive Player of the Year, and Shane Simpson, the First Team All-CAA running back.

2017: Played in all 11 games during his redshirt junior season … started in the first 10 games of the season along the Tigers’ offensive line.

2016: Started all 11 games at right tackle…blocked for an offense that averaged 156.5 yards a game on the ground, including three games over 200 yards…paved way for three different running backs to run for over 100 yards…helped open holes for the CAA Offensive Rookie of the Year.

2015: Appeared in all 11 games…earned the start at right tackle in the final eight games…second on the offensive line in starts… blocked for an offense that averaged 354.3 yards per game…paved the way for a 1,000-yard rusher…team rushed for over 200 yards in three games, including a season-high 284 yards in the victory over Rhode Island.

2014: Sat out as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Jeremy Jones at York Suburban High School…earned all-county and second-team all-East Coast honors…helped the Trojans stop a two-point conversion in a win.

PERSONAL: Son of Brian and Nora Kauffman…majoring in economics.
