Biography

2015: Appeared in all 11 games, earning the start at nose tackle in each game…finished the season with 38 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, three sacks and one forced fumble…posted five tackles, including a tackle-for-loss in the season opener at East Carolina…recorded seven tackles and two sacks in the victory at Stony Brook…forced a fumble in the second quarter that was returned for a touchdown…had season-high eight tackles in the victory over Villanova.

2014: Appeared in all 12 games, earning one start…finished with 19 tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 0.5 sacks…posted season-high six tackles against William & Mary…selected to the CAA All-Academic team.

2013: Appeared in 15 games…finished season with 20 tackles, 6.5 tackles-for-loss and 3.5 sacks…posted season-high four tackles in the victory over Albany.

2012: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: Played for head coach Corky Rogers at The Bolles School…two-time first-team all-state selection…earned First-Team All-First Coast honors in helping the Bulldogs to a 16-1 record and a state championship…helped Bulldogs to a 39-3 record and two state titles in his career…also a member of the wrestling team…won the state championship at heavweight as a senior.

Personal: Born February 11, 1994…son of Ramon and Cathy Tejada…has three brothers…majoring in sport management.
