Biography

2019: Towson's primary designated hitter, tying for the team lead with 18 extra-base hits and being second on the team with a .417 slugging percentage... played in 50 games with 42 starts, hitting .219 with 10 doubles, four triples, four home runs and 14 RBI... two-double day in 2-for-4 performance at Davidson (Feb. 16)... drove in four runs in 2-for-5 day, including a doubleand a triple, vs. UNC Wilmington (Mar. 24)... pair of doubles and an RBI in road victory over UMBC (Apr. 16)... seven-game hitting streak from Apr. 20-28, capped by going 3-for-3 with a walk and a run in comeback win over William & Mary (Apr. 28)... hit a home run for final hit as a Tiger in victory vs. Northeastern (May 18).

2018:  Appeared in 47 games, making 41 starts at third base and designated hitter…hit .225 with eight doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 26 RBIs…homered and drove in two runs in the victory over New Mexico State…went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs in the middle game against Ohio…belted a grand slam and drove in five in a win over Delaware State…became first Tiger to hit two home runs in a game in nearly two years by hitting two home runs and driving in five in a win over Coppin State…collected two hits, drove in two runs and scored twice in a win over UNCW…added solo home runs against the College of Charleston and Maryland ... had six multi-hit games.

2017:  Appeared in 51 games, making 48 starts…hit. 272 with six doubles, three triples, three home runs and 34 RBIs…led team in RBIs and tied for team lead in triples…hit safely in each of the first four games of the season…belted first career home run in series opener at East Carolina…would collect five hits and drive in five runs in three-game series…drove in a career high five runs against Hofstra…went 4-for-5 with a double and a triple against Navy, then followed it up the next day by collecting three hits and driving in four runs against Delaware State…doubled and drove in two runs against Maryland…closed out season with a solo home run in a victory over UNCW.

2016:  Appeared in 38 games, making 27 starts…hit .239 with five doubles, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored…went 3-for-3 with an RBI in his first collegiate game at Presbyterian…collected two hits, including a double, against Wake Forest…hit safely in four-straight games in early March…had two hits in the middle game at Kennesaw State…scored a pair of runs, while going 2-for-4 against James Madison.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played for head coach Bryan Tenney at Canisius High School…earned All-State Catholic First Team honors…hit .411 with 11 doubles, five triples and one home run as a junior…selected to the Perfect Game National Tournament Team in 2014.

PERSONAL:  Son of Keith Miller and Mary Szabat…has one sister…cousin, David Wesloski played in the Miami Marlins organization…favorite professional team is the New York Yankees…favorite professional athlete is Alex Rodriguez…favorite movie is “Moneyball”…most memorable moment was hitting a walk-off single to win the Georgetown Cup in 2014…majoring in sports management.
