Biography

Fourth-year starter at offensive tackle ... will probably be the Tigers’ starter at right tackle for the fourth year in a row ... has played in 33 of a possible 34 games in his college career ... could be a candidate for All-Colonial Athletic Association honors ... has outstanding potential ... continues to get better ... hard worker in the weight room ... very aggressive offensive lineman ... has been the Tigers’ most consistent lineman for most of his career ... freshman "red shirt" in 2005 ... fully-recovered from chest injury which hampered him in 2007.

2008 Season: Appeared in 11 games and started 10 times ... suffered a concussion in third game of season, a loss at Richmond ... started 25 consecutive games until sitting out the Tigers’ game at Coastal Carolina ... returned to the lineup but did not start in Tigers’ 31-24 victory over Columbia.

2007 Season: Starter in all 11 games at right tackle for the Tigers ... provided stability to an offensive line that was hampered by injuries ... played the entire season despite a chest injury ... played through the pain and had a solid season.

2006 Season: Starter at right tackle as a "red shirt" freshman ... started all eleven games, helping Tigers to a 7-4 record ... helped Tigers average 287 passing yards per game to lead conference ... emerged as leader on offensive line.

At Francis Scott Key High School: Starter at tackle for the Eagles three years ... served as team captain as a junior and senior ... helped the Eagles win the 2004 Piedmont Conference and Carroll County titles, earning a quarterfinal playoff appearance in the state tournament ... named to All-County, All-League and All-Metro teams during career ... honored as 2004 Carroll County Offensive Player of the Year by The Baltimore Sun ... named second team All-State as a senior ... one of 13 Monocacy Valley Athletic League players named to the 2004 Baltimore Touchdown Club’s Super 22 all-star team ... played for Eagles’ assistant coach Geoff Waugh, a three-year starter at offensive tackle for Towson from 1999-2002 ... holds school record for bench press ... honor roll student all four years ... played four years of baseball and two years of basketball for the Eagles.
