High School: Played goalkeeper at Cape Fear Academy for head coach Meade McFarlane … won 63 games, including 32 shutouts, both school records … backed team to a 2014 2A North Carolina State Championship … led team to conference titles in 2015 and 2016 … earned all-conference honors all four seasons, all-area second team as a sophomore and junior … selected all-area first team as a senior … won the leadership award in 2017 and was the Golden Boot and MVP winner in 2018 … named all-state as a senior and was a three-time captain … member of the National Honor Society … won the Bronze Award on the National Spanish Exam … earned honor roll status all four years and was on the Headmaster’s List as a freshman and sophomore.
