Who We Are
Our team performs at all football games, men's and women's basketball games, gymnastics meets and lacrosse games. We are also involved in various on and off campus community events, some of which include the Maryland Heart Walk, Tigerthon, Relay for Life and as well as others.
The Towson Pom Squad competes at UDA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. We perform in both the Division 1 Jazz, Hiphop & GameDay categories.
New for 2023-24
For the 2023-2024 season, our team will have two different components. These two components include a Game Day Squad and a Nationals Squad. Below are the responsibilities of both components of our team:
- Game Day Squad- This group of girls will perform at all football games and most basketball games, gymnastics meets and lacrosse games.
- Nationals Squad- This group of girls will perform at all football games and some, but less, basketball games, gymnastics meets and lacrosse games. This group of girls will focus more on nationals choreography and technique during our nationals season in order to prepare for the competition.
Both teams will have 2-3 weekly practices, depending on the team each member is selected for. Upon making the team, all girls will automatically be on our game day squad. In late September, our nationals squad will be selected and roles and responsibilities will become more specific.
