Effective immediately for Towson University home contests:
--Contests will be open at 100% capacity for indoor events.
--Masks will be required for all attendees regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn at all times inside Towson University buildings and cover the nose and mouth.
Towson University continues to monitor the ongoing situation along with university, county and state officials. These new procedures are enacted in cooperation with the Towson University medical advisory committee and the University System of Maryland.
Bag Policy
Backpacks, small purses, diaper bags, etc. will be permitted at Towson athletic facilities and are subject to search. However, any bags exceeding 22"12"x8" will NOT be permitted. Metal detector wands will be used at ALL entrance gates. Please allow for extra time to enter prior to the game.
Towson University COVID-19 Statement
Health and safety on campus remains the top priority. We continue to closely monitor the individual cases and data trends of COVID-19 both on campus and in the surrounding community.
TU’s COVID Response Leadership Team continues to consult daily with the TU Medical Advisory Committee, an independent board of medical experts, to inform its data-based decisions around the pandemic.
TU continues to require all students, faculty and staff to follow health and safety measures currently in place including the proper use of masks in all indoor public spaces on campus. Masks will remain a requirement throughout the remainder of the semester in all public university spaces and while utilizing campus transportation.
