About Us:
At TigersAspire, our main goal is to help student-athletes foster meaningful relationships and prepare for a successful transition into life after Towson through mentorship with TU athletics alumni.
The mentorship commitment will last for one academic year, beginning in August and ending in May. Mentors will meet with mentees at least once per month, and meetings can take place in-person or online to include alumni who live away from the Towson Community. The mentees will consist of juniors and seniors who elected to be connected with an alumni. Discussion points will consist of career preparation and retirement from sport, but are flexible enough to discuss anything necessary.
- Student-athletes with set career goals will be paired with Towson Athletics alumni in their planned career path.
- Student-athletes who are still discovering their path will be connected with an alumni who graduated with their major.
Mentor Criteria
- Towson Athletics Alumni
- Employed or Retired
- Able to meet with mentee at least one time per month online (Zoom, Phone Call, etc.) or in person
