2021: Versatile player for Towson, making starts at third base, first base and designated hitter, playing in 36 games with 27 starts... one home run shy of the team lead with three on the year... finished with 16 hits, 11 runs, four doubles and 16 walks... reached base in his first eight games, including going 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI at Georgia Southern (3/7)... drove in three of Towson's five runs in a 2-for-4 day, having a home run and double in win vs. Fordham (4/17).

2020: Towson's primary third baseman, finishing the year on a 12-game bases reached streak and getting on-base in 13 of 14 games played... hit .268 with a team-best 12 walks and three hit-by-pitches, second on Towson with a .464 on-base percentage... made Towson debut in season opener at Old Dominion (2/14) with a two-run triple... hit 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a walk in series finale at Miami (3/1)... drove in three RBI in home-opening victory over UMBC (3/4)... finished the year with a 3-for-4 performance in win at George Washington (3/10), hitting two RBI singles. (15-game shortened season)

BEFORE TOWSON: Spent two years at Frederick Community College... hit .311 in 2019, helping team come within one win from the Junior College World Series... appeared in 98 games in his JUCO career, hitting .294 with eight home runs, 17 doubles, 66 runs and 16 stolen bases in 17 attempts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Battlefield High... helped team make the 6A state championship game... hit .403 as a senior, earning all-region and all-district honors twice, also appearing in the Player of the Year voting his final season.

PERSONAL: Son of Gary and Michelle Austin... majoring in sport management... father, Gary, played basketball at Longwood University.
