2014:  Appeared in 45 games, making 42 starts…hit .264 with eight doubles, two triples, one home run and 16 RBIs…doubled and drove in three against Albany…hit a solo home run in the series opener against College of Charleston…went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in the series finale at William & Mary.

2013:  Played in 59 games, making 58 starts…hit .286 with 11 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 40 RBIs…also scored a team-best 50 runs…had 17 multi-hit games…collected seven hits in the opening-weekend series at McNeese State…doubled, homered and drove in three runs in the first game of a doubleheader against Old Dominion…drove in two runs in three-straight games in early April…went 3-for-4 with a triple, home run and three RBIs in series finale against UNCW…hit .389  with two triples, one home run and six RBIs in four CAA Tournament games…collected two triples and a home run in the victory over William & Mary…scored five runs and drove in six in the victory…batted .333 in the Chapel Hill Regional…hit a solo home run in victory over No. 23 Florida Atlantic.

2012:  Appeared in 53 games, making 52 starts…hit .308 with five doubles, two triples, one home run and 34 RBIs…set single-season record by being hit by 20 pitches…collected two hits in his collegiate debut against The Citadel…drove in three runs in a victory over Navy…hit .667 with four RBIs and five runs scored in sweep over George Mason…effort earned him CAA Rookie of the Week honors…hit first career home run in series finale against George Mason…posted three hits and scored three runs in a victory over UMES.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Four-year varsity letterwinner for head coach Joe Stetka at John Carroll High School…hit .486 with 11 home runs as a senior…two-time All-MIAA selection…earned Second Team All-Metro honors…led the Patriots to a 15-6 record and a Top-10 ranking in the Baltimore area…batted .579 as a junior…finished career with 39 doubles, 16 home runs and 150 RBIs…drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 50th round of the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

PERSONAL:  Born July 23, 1993…son of Matt and Cindy Butler…father played football at Salisbury State…majoring in sport management.
