Eric Franc has been a Tiger Athletic Academic Advisor since the fall of 2011. He currently offers advice for the Tiger baseball, women’s soccer, men's lacrosse and men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams.

Franc also is a member of the Tiger baseball coaching staff. He’s been an assistant coach since 2010 and helped the 2013 Tiger squad capture the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Franc has been a member of the Tiger athletic department since 2006. He served as the coordinator of basketball operations for the women’s team from 2006-11. Franc has also been an instructor in the kinesiology department since 2007.

Franc earned his master’s in education from Lake Erie College in 2006 and his bachelor’s in physical education from Towson in 2003.

While working on his degree at Lake Erie, Franc was an admissions counselor and an assistant coach for the baseball team.

Franc also worked as an assistant coach for the Coppin State baseball team from 2009 to 2010. There he helped the Eagles post the national’s largest improvement in a year (0-29 in 2009 to 14-33 in 2010).

He and his wife, the former Lauren Carpenter, a Towson grad, reside in the Baltimore area with their son, Bradley.
