2014:  Appeared in six games, making one start…went 0-0 with a 4.00 ERA and one save…did not allow a run over one inning at Houston…struck out two over one scoreless inning to earn the save against Mount St. Mary’s…made only start of the season against Delaware…allowed three runs over 4.2 innings in a no decision.

2013:  Appeared in 10 games, earning two starts…went 0-0 with a 12.54 ERA…pitched two-thirds of an inning of shutout baseball in collegiate debut at Virginia…tossed 4.2 innings in first start at Mount St. Mary’s…did not allow a run over one inning at Maryland.

COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN MARYLAND:  Spent one year at the College of Southern Maryland…went 7-6 with a 5.56 ERA…recorded 67 strikeouts in 69.2 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played for head coach Zach Adams at Leonardtown High School…earned all-conference honors as a senior after hitting .345…two-time All-St. Mary’s County selection…helped the Raiders to reach the regional championship as a junior…also played basketball and golf…earned all-county honors on the golf course.

PERSONAL:  Born Sept. 13, 1993…son of Raymond and Joy Sapp…has one brother and one sister…majoring in elementary education with a minor in special education.
