Solid defensive catcher who adds depth to the Tigers’ catching corps ... did very well in the Fall ... dependable defensive player with a strong arm ... should see more playing time this season.

2006 Season:   Appeared in ten games and made one start ... batted .250 with a double and three runs scored ... also had two runs batted in ... walked once and was hit by a pitch once ... had 11 putouts and no errors ... walked and scored a run in Tigers’ 15-10 loss to Delaware ... used as a pinch-hitter five times and went 0-for-5 ... used as a pinch runner in 8-3 loss at Maryland ... reached base twice in 24-9 loss to James Madison ... reached base when hit by a pitch in the seventh inning against the Dukes ... had first collegiate base hit, a single in the eighth inning, against JMU ... made first career start at UMBC in 5-2 Tigers’ victory ... led Tigers to win with two hits, two runs scored and two runs batted in ... singled in third inning and scored first run of game ... hit clutch two-run double in seventh inning to give Tigers a 3-2 lead ... also scored a run in four-run seventh ... had seven putouts in win over the Retrievers ... grounded out as a pinch hitter in 11th inning of Tigers’ 9-8, 18-inning loss to Old Dominion.
