Biography

2023: Made 6 starts over 17 appearances, notching a .233 average with two RBI... registered two-hit games against Monmouth on April 23 and Stony Brook on May 20... scored three runs against Richmond on April 19... named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2022: Played in 34 games with 19 starts in the infield, taking over the starting shortstop role late in the season... hit .258 with a .395 on-base percentage, having three doubles and 11 walks... earned multi-hit performances in all three games at Elon (5/13-15), capped by going 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in the series finale (5/15)... went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI in victory vs. CAA regular season champion Charleston (5/20)... member of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

2021: Worked into the starting lineup at third base, playing in 42 games with 37 starts... hit .210 on the year with 20 runs, three doubles and 27 free passes... earned first collegiate hits in a 3-for-4 day at Winthrop (2/27)... six-game hitting streak from 4/17-4/24, including 2-for-2 as a pinch hitter, earning the game-winning two-run ninth inning single at Hofstra (4/23)... notched three RBI off a 2-for-4 contest with a double in road victory over Delaware (5/8).

2020: Did not play, redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Baseball player at D.H. Conley High... finished high school career with .340 batting average, .475 OBP and 92 runs... three-time all-conference honoree... team captain as a senior, named team MVP and a golden glove winner... member of the school's Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Son of Mike and Christine Lysaght... Has a sister, Kate, and two brothers, Jon and Drew... major is health education & promotion.
