2018: Appeared in 25 games, making 14 starts ... hit .208 with one double, three RBIs and six runs scored... had two hits against George Washington ... had his double against Richmond.

2017:  Appeared in 20 games, making 15 starts…hit .100 with nine walks and five runs scored…singled in first start of season against Cal State Northridge…drew a pair of walks against Norfolk State and Northeastern.

2016:  Apppeared in 33 games, making 24 starts behind the plate…hit .216 with three home runs and 19 RBIs…singled and drove in a run in season debut at New Mexico State…collected three hits and drove in three runs in two games against Rhode Island…had a career day against James Madison by going 3-for-3 with two home runs and six RBIs…drove in the first six runs of the game, including a grand slam that gave the Tigers the lead for good…came off the bench to go 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs at George Washington.

2015:  Appeared in 21 games, making 17 starts…missed the first month of the season due to illness…hit .236 with four doubles and six RBIs…went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and two RBIs in his collegiate debut at Delaware State…collected two hits, including a double in the series finale against Elon…doubled twice in the middle game against James Madison…added two hits in the series opener at Delaware…drew a pair of walks and put down a sacrifice bunt in three plate appearances in the season finale.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played for head coach Kelvin Davis at Halifax County High School…hit .433 with 12 RBIs and 16 runs scored in earning all-conference and all-region honors as a senior…helped Comets capture conference and regional championships…garnered honorable mention accolades after hitting .373 with seven doubles and 21 RBIs as a junior…graduated high school with an associates degree in general studies.

PERSONAL:  Born August 4, 1996…son of Stover and Paula Howerton…has one brother and two sisters…favorite professional team is the Atlanta Braves…favorite pro athlete is Johnny Bench…most memorable experience was playing at Camden Yards…majoring in business-management.
