Biography

2015: Started in all 19 games of her final season with the program … played in more minutes (1,803) than any Tiger this season … finished with eight points on three goals and two assists, second-most points for Towson in 2015 … scored the game-winning goal against Elon (Oct. 25) following senior day festivities … also scored at Fairfield (Sept. 4) and at Delaware (Oct. 4) … converted on the Tigers’ only penalty kick of the season at Fairfield, becoming the first Towson player since 2010 to score a PK … Towson went 2-0-1 in games with a Delgado goal … took 14 total shots, including eight on goal (57.1 percent) … anchored a defense that maintained a program-record 551 minute scoreless streak … won team’s Defensive MVP Honors at the year-end banquet.

2014: Named third team All-CAA … mainstay on the Tigers’ defense all season … started every match … took four shots (three on goal) against College of Charleston … posted her first career assist on Towson’s second goal in a 2-0 win over William & Mary – the program’s first against the Tribe and the win that sent the Tigers into the CAA Tournament for the first time … part of a defense that earned the Tigers to a 3-0-2 record in their final five regular-season matches … took one shot in Towson’s first CAA Tournament match at Hofstra.

2013: Started all 19 matches ... key part to a defense that allowed the fewest conference goals since 2003 ... took two shots against Mount St. Mary's.

2012: Appeared in 13 games as a freshman, starting two ... took her first shot in the season opener against DePaul on Aug. 17 ... added two shots against UNC Wilmington on Oct. 19.

At Washington-Lee H.S.:  Won the 2010 National District Championship with the Generals … also ran indoor track and was a runner-up district champion in 2009 … named first-team all-district in 2010 and 2011 … received an honorable mention spot on the 2011 all-region team.

Personal: Enjoys reading and baking … favorite athlete is Lionel Messi … names her favorite musician as Mariah Carey … most memorable experience is winning the state cup with her travel team … daughter of Jerson and Claudia Delgado … has one older brother, Jerson, and one younger sister, Isabella … double major in Latin America studies and pyschology.
