2019: Lone Tigers to start all 53 games for Towson, 52 of them at third base... team leader in RBI with 28 and sacrifice flies with five... hit .255 with nine doubles, four home runs, 23 runs, 12 walks and 13 hit-by-pitches... hit safely in 35 games... first Towson hit was a home run in season debut at Davidson (Feb. 15)... brought in three RBI in 2-for-5 day with a double at Kennesaw State (Feb. 23)... three multi-hit games in a row from Apr.6-9, hitting a double in all games and combining for four RBI... notched two doubles with two RBI in 3-for-5 in series endcap at Hofstra (Apr. 14), following by going 2-for-5 with a run and two RBI in win at UMBC (Apr. 16)... ended the year on a five-game hitting streak, with final hit being a home run vs. Northeastern (May 18).

BEFORE TOWSON: Spent three years at Limestone College, earning undergraduate degree...two-time All-Conference Carolinas Second Team and four-time member of the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll...hit at least .333 in all three seasons (two full years, one medical redshirt), combining to hit .343 with 34 home runs, 23 doubles, 83 RBI, 66 free passes and 112 runs scored...played one season with Wake Forest in 2015, playing in 14 games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Huntingtown High...earned All-Metro honors as a senior...

PERSONAL: Son of Stephen and Rachel Piazza...has two brothers, Dominic and Joey...father, Stephen, played baseball at High Point University, while brother, Dominic, is a lacrosse player at Wingate University.
