Riley Kijek joined the Towson University communications department in August 2024. He serves as the primary SID and media contact for the field hockey, softball, swimming & diving and men’s golf teams.
Kijek came to Towson after spending a year as a digital media intern at the University of Maryland College Park, where he was the secondary contact for the volleyball and baseball teams for the 2023-24 season. He also worked home events for basketball, field hockey, and wrestling.
From August-December 2021, he served as a beat writer for WMUC Sports, Maryland’s student-run radio station, covering women’s soccer.
Kijek completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 2024, majoring in communications with a concentration in digital media.
