BEFORE TOWSON: Spent 2024 season at Duke, playing in four games... played at Mercer from 2020-23, competing in 36 career games... tallied 1,370 rushing yards, 161 receiving yards and 11 rushing touchdowns, helping Mercer earn FCS playoff appearance in 2023.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athletes at Christian Brothers Academy... two-time all-state and three-time all-region football player... also competed in wrestling, leading team to 2017 state title and being an individual state champion in the 220-class in 2018 and 2019, being the Commerical Appeal Wrestler of the Year in 2018... also cometed in track.

PERSONAL: Graduated from Mercer University... son of Al and Vera Wooten... has a sister, Aleyla, who played tennis at Eastern Illinois and Prairie View A&M... father, Al, played football at Syracuse... graduated from Mercer University with a degree in journalism.
