Biography
2021: Towson's starting left tackle in all 11 games, having finished Tiger career starting all 35 games in final three seasons with the Black & Gold... played the year as a graduate student having earned his undergraduate degree.
2019: Starting left tackle for all 12 of Towson's games... Blocked for an offense that averaged 30.2 points per game, fourth in the CAA.
2018: Towson's starting left tackle in all 12 games...helped Towson rank #1 in the CAA in each points scored per game and total offense...blocked the blind side for Tom Flacco, the CAA Offensive Player of the Year.
2017: Saw the field in all 11 games during his redshirt freshman season on the offensive line … got the start against Delaware (Oct. 28) … helped the Tigers rush for over 100 yards against the Blue Hens, along with 187 passing yards … helped the Tigers rush for over 1,000 yards and pass for over 2,200 yards.
2016: Sat out as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Caesar Nettles at Riverdale Baptist High School…earned Second-Team Private School All-State honors as a senior…also earned second-team honors from DMV Elite and honorable mention honors from the Washington Post…garnered first-team Super Regional National Christian School Athletic Association honors…selected to play in the Maryland Crab Bowl…named First-Team All-Capitol Area Football Conference as a junior in helping the Crusaders to an 8-2 record…member of the honor roll…sang the national anthem at the Big 33 Celebration of Achievement ceremony.
PERSONAL: Son of Arden and Angela Garnett…has two brothers, Alexander and Aaron…majoring in electronic media and film.
