Biography

Transfer from Lafayette College ... graduated from Lafayette  in May ... will use final year of eligibility at Towson while working on Master’s degree ... will probably play fullback for the Tigers ... could also see action at linebacker ... two-year starter at linebacker who earned All-Patriot League honors for the Leopards.


AT LAFAYETTE: One of the Leopards’ top tacklers the last two seasons ... earned second team All-Patriot League honors in 2011 ... made 84 tackles last season ... had 14 tackles in win over Colgate in 2011 ... had 10 tackles against Bucknell and Georgetown ... started all 11 games in 2010 and made 70 tackles, third on team ... made 10 tackles against Fordham in 2010 ... blocked a kick that resulted in a touchdown at Pennsylvania ... appeared in 11 games as a reserve linebacker in 2009 and made 11 tackles ... sat out 2008 season with injury ... had a total of 165 tackles in his career at Lafayette ... very good student who was a two-time selection to the Patriot League All-Academic team.


AT MERCERSBURG ACADEMY: Attended Mercersburg Academy for one year ... served as team captain and was named as team Most Valuable Player ... named to All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League first team ... made 86 tackles with three sacks and a fumble recovery ... also caught six passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns.


AT GILMAN SCHOOL:
Three-sport standout at Gilman who also played basketball and was a member of the track and field team ... named first team All-Metro in each sport ... earned first team All-State honors for the Greyhounds ... led Gilman to the MIAA championship ... two-time All-Metro first team selection ... made 123 tackles as a senior, including 23 tackles for lost yardage ... also had seven sacks and intercepted three passes ... honored as the Metro Defensive Player of the Year by The Baltimore Sun ... two-time All-MIAA selection ... also played fullback and scored 11 touchdowns as a senior.
