Biography

2015: Appeared in seven games, making six starts at center…came in as a reserve in the season opener before starting the next six games…anchored an offensive line that rushed for over 200 yards in back-to-back games against Holy Cross and Elon…team passed for 273 yards, it’s second highest total of the season, in the victory over Saint Francis.

2014: Appeared in eight games, earning the start at center in six games…helped clear the way for a rushing attack that ranked fourth in the CAA in rushing yards and rushing yards per game.

2013: Saw action in two games…played against Holy Cross and Delaware State.

2012: Sat out as a redshirt.

High School: Played for head coach Dean Swink at Tuscarora High School…earned second-team all-state honors after posting 75 tackles and six sacks as a senior…also earned all-area and all-county accolades as a two-way tackle…garnered honorable mention all-state laurels as a junior…selected to play in the Maryland Crab Bowl All-Star Game…honorable mention All-Monocacy Valley League wrestler…also a member of the lacrosse team.

Personal: Born August 23, 1994…son of Bill and Lori Stup…has three brothers…father, and brother Billy, played football at Towson…brother, Bobby, played football at Colgate…has one uncle who played football at Virginia Tech, while another played at Shepherd College…majoring in physical education.
