2019 Season: 2019 Co-Captain … USILA Honorable Mention All-America ... 2019 CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Year … CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player … CAA All-Tournament Team … CAA Player of the Week (Feb. 26) … USILA Division I Team of the Week (Feb. 26) … Baltimore Sun National Player of the Week (March 1) … drafted 13th overall by the Atlanta Blaze in MLL Collegiate Draft … played and started all 16 games at attack … finished the 2019 season with 74 points on 49 goals and 25 assists … first Towson player with 70-plus points since 2001 campaign … 74 points register fourth all-time for a single season in program history … capped career on a 23-game scoring streak with 54 goals and 29 assists for 83 points in that span … logged 10 hat tricks in 2019 … dropped a career-best nine points on No. 17 Georgetown with four goals and five assists at Cooper Field … five assists vs. Delaware (May 2) tied a CAA Tournament record while his eight points also tied a CAA Tournament record … led team with 128 shots, putting 73 chances on goal … scored on 38.3 percent of his shots … finished with four game-winning goals, including the deciding goal for the Tigers’ eighth CAA Championship … logged three extra-man chances … grabbed 24 ground balls … did not serve a penalty all season
2018 Season: Saw time in all 15 games, adding 13 starts after missing 2017 with an upper body injury … played at both midfield and attack … finished the season with 23 points on 17 goals and six assists … scored three hat tricks, with his first career three-goal game against Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 17) … added hat tricks against Drexel (April 6) and against Delaware (May 3) in the CAA Semifinals … scored at least one point in the final seven games of the season … took 66 shots, putting 32 chances on goal.
2017 Season: Did not appear in any games during his sophomore campaign after suffering an upper body injury.
2016 Season: Played in five games at attack during his true freshman season … made his collegiate debut in the Tigers’ 11-2 win over Mercer (Feb. 12) in the season opener … took three shots during his rookie season, including two against Furman (March 19) … grabbed two groundballs, one against Mercer and a second against UMBC (March 5).
High School: Played attack at Arlington (N.Y.) High School for head coach Don Connolly … finished as program’s all-time leading scorer with 249 points … named 2015 Section I All-American … twice tabbed Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year … two-time All-Section and All-County basketball player … member of the school’s honor roll.
Personal: Son of James and Jennifer Sunday … has two brothers, Colin and Patrick … brother, Patrick, played lacrosse at NCAA Division II program College of Saint Rose … most admires his older brother Patrick … favorite professional sports teams are the New York Jets (NFL), New York Rangers (NHL) and Boston Celtics (NBA) … favorite actor is Christopher Walken … plans to major in business at Towson with the goal of being a personal money manager.
