Demarcus Gilmore joined Towson athletics for the 2022 season as a quality control coach for the football team.
Gilmore returns to Towson after working as an intern for the director of sports operations in the fall of 2021. He also worked as an offensive and defensive line coach for high school, recreational baseball coach, and assistant basketball coach for the YMCA.
Gilmore earned his bachelor's degree from Towson in sports management where he was a two-year starter and right tackle for the Tigers. He earned his associate’s degree in social behavior science from Pasadena City College.
