    Assistant Wide Receivers Coach
Former professional wide receiver R.J. Harris has joined the Towson football staff as an assistant wide receivers coach, beginning in the 2026 season.

Harris spent time in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons before a career in the Canadian Football League, having 49 catches for 2,241 yards and four touchdowns over four seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks from 2018-22.

He returns to the CAA after a standout career at the University of New Hampshire, being a two-time All-American and three-time All-CAA honoree, leading all of FCS in receiving yards as a senior.

A former standout at Arundel High in Maryland, he set state records in football, including 20 catches in a playoff game and 28 receiving touchdowns in a season as a senior.  He finished his career with 181 catches for 2,618 yards and 48 touchdowns.

Harris graduated from New Hampshire in 2015.
