Biography
2022: Team captain on the offense, starting all 11 games as Towson's center... one of two Tigers to start all 11 games on the offensive line... took a direct snap for a one-yard rushing touchdown in road victory at Monmouth (10/29).
2021: Fixture on the Towson offensive line, starting in all 11 games on the season... Towson's primary center, also playing at right guard... earned his undergraduate degree in the fall and will return for 2022.
2019: Started all 12 games on the offensive line, including the final 11 as the starting center... Blocked for an offense that averaged 30.2 points per game, fourth in the CAA.
2018: Played at guard for Towson, appearing in nine games with starts in victories over Villanova on Sept. 15 and The Citadel on Sept. 29.
2017: Did not see the field as a freshman along the offensive line.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Mike Neubeiser at Northwest High School…two-time All-Montgomery County selection…helped pave the way for two of the top 12 running backs in Montgomery County…named as the Jaguars MVP as a senior…helped team to state championship as a sophomore…selected for the Maryland Crab Bowl All-Star game.
PERSONAL: Son of Darrell and Becky Cheripko…has one brother, Drew, and three sisters, Brooke, Taylor and Morgan…father played football at Youngstown State…brother played football for the Tigers from 2011-14, while sister, Brooke, was a cheerleader at Louisville and sister, Morgan, played lacrosse at the University of Tampa…plans to major in computer science.
