Recipient of the Inaugural Wardell-Turner Memorial Scholarship

2018: Team captain as the starting safety, playing in all 12 games...Tallied up 71 tackles, nine passes broken up and an interception...Had at least three tackles in all 12 games...Notched nine tackles, including eight unassisted, in victory at Villanova on Sept. 15, following with eight tackles, an interception and two passes broken up in win vs. The Citadel on Sept. 29...Season-high 10 tackles, seven solo, vs. James Madison on Nov. 17.

2017: Played in all 11 games as a defensive back … finished the season with 72 total tackles, with 44 coming in solo … ranked second on the team in total tackles … had one tackle for a loss of five yards at William & Mary (Nov. 11) … logged a season-high 11 stops against Delaware (Oct. 28) … finished with a team-best three interceptions, returning the picks for 32 yards … had four pass breakups, including a pair at William & Mary.

2016: Started all 11 games at strong safety…ranked third on the team with 63 tackles, including 39 solo stops…added two tackles-for-loss, seven pass break-ups, four forced fumbles and an interception…recorded seven tackles, forced two fumbles and broke up a pair of passes in the victory over Saint Francis…made eight solo stops at Richmond…registered a season-high 12 tackles, and forced a fumble, at Delaware…returned an interception 23 yards in a win over William & Mary.

2015: Appeared in all 11 games…earned the start at safety in each of the final six games…finished the season with 41 tackles, one tackle-for-loss and an interception…began his collegiate career with seven tackles against East Carolina…later tied that career high with seven stops in his first start against Stony Brook…returned an interception 24 yards in the victory over Rhode Island.

2014: Sat out as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Richard Morgan at Oscar F. Smith High School…earned all-state, all-region and all-conference honors after leading the Tigers to a 14-1 record and a berth in the state championship game as a senior…caught 42 passes for 735 yards and 14 touchdowns…recorded four interceptions, 12 pass break-ups and recovered two fumbles…added five interceptions as a junior…had 20 receptions for 430 yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore…member of the honor roll.

PERSONAL: Son of Janet M. Fenner…cousin, Chandler Fenner won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks…majoring in criminal justice.
