Cody Davis returned to his alma mater to join the Towson athletics department in summer 2023, serving as an athletic trainer for the football team.
Davis comes to Towson after two seasons at Salisbury University from 2021-23, working with football, volleyball and softball. He was responsible for all aspects of athletic training for those teams, including rehab and taping. The Salisbury softball team advanced to the College World Series twice in his time, including being the national runner-up in 2023.
While an undergraduate at Towson, he worked as an athletic training student for four years from 2017-21, helping several teams including football, gymnastics, softball and field hockey. He also worked with Loyola men's lacrosse from Aug.-Dec. 2019 and Jan.-May 2021.
Davis graduated from Towson in 2021 with a degree in athletic training, earning his Master's in higher education leadership from Salisbury in 2023.
