Kennedy Pipers joined Towson Athletics as an athletic trainer in June 2024.
Pipers comes to Towson as a full-time athletic trainer after working with Louisiana State University (LSU) football. At LSU, Pipers independently assessed injuries, facilitated rehabilitation plans for athletes, and collaborated with other health professionals while overseeing both the Master of Athletic Training students and undergraduate student workers.
Prior to LSU, she was a University of Florida athletic training resident, working as the head athletic trainer for Gainesville High School and Bell High School. During her tenure, she provided athletic training services to over five hundred students across twenty-two sports, communicated daily with parents and student-athletes alike, and conducted baseline concussion testing using SCAT5© and ImPACT® tests.
Pipers graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science-Athletic Training and received a Doctor of Athletic Training degree from the University of Florida in 2022. Pipers maintains a plethora of certifications and achievements in her field, including being a member of the College Athletic Trainers Society.
