Towson University Athletics

Tyler Turner serves as an assistant athletic trainer, joining Towson University this past June. He works primarily with the football team. 

Turner was previously a seasonal athletic trainer for the Baltimore Ravens during the 2020 and 2021 NFL seasons.

Tyler previously had stops as an athletic trainer at the University of Richmond and Santa Fe College plus was the head athletic trainer at Columbia High School in Florida.

While an undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh, he was an athletic training intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2017 NFL season.

Turner graduated from the University Pittsburgh in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training.  He earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida in 2020. 

He is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Maryland and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
